Effective from: 2026-03-11 until further notice • Version: 1.0
1. INTRODUCTION AND APPLICABILITY
1.1. Parties and applicability: These Terms of Purchase apply to agreements for the purchase of goods entered into between Hilleberg the Tentmaker Aktiebolag with company registration number 556538–1885, a Swedish private limited company registered in Sweden (hereinafter referred to as "we", "our" or "us"), and the consumer making the purchase (hereinafter referred to as "you" or "your").
1.2. Acceptance of terms: By completing the order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms of Purchase.
1.3. Applicable legislation: For purchases made by consumers, the mandatory provisions of the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (2005:59) and the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (2022:260) apply. These provisions grant you rights that cannot be waived by agreement. More information about your consumer rights is available at www.hallakonsument.se and www.konsumentverket.se.
2. ORDER
2.1. Special requirements: To make a purchase with us, you must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into the agreement with binding effect. If you are under 18 years of age, you must have the consent of your legal guardian to complete the purchase. By placing an order, you confirm that these requirements are met.
2.2. Formation of the agreement: A binding purchase agreement is formed only when we have confirmed your order by e-mail. We reserve the right for products to be sold out. If an item you have ordered is out of stock, we will notify you without undue delay and refund any payments made, no later than within 30 days.
2.3. Payment obligation: By completing the purchase, you undertake to pay in accordance with these Terms of Purchase.
2.4. Order confirmation and verification: The order confirmation contains details of the purchased goods, prices, and delivery. You are responsible for verifying the information and contacting us without undue delay in the event of any errors. We are entitled to correct obvious mistakes which you realized, or ought to have realized, and send a new order confirmation. You may then cancel the order at no cost if the corrections are not accepted.
2.5. Performance of the agreement: You have performed your obligations under the agreement upon payment. We have performed our obligations when the goods have been delivered.
2.6. Cancellation prior to delivery: You may cancel your order before delivery. In such case, we are entitled to compensation for costs and losses in accordance with applicable law, unless the right of withdrawal applies.
2.7. Cancellation after delivery: After delivery, the right of withdrawal applies in accordance with section 7 below. Cancellation beyond this is not possible.
3. PRICES AND DISCOUNTS
3.1. Prices and VAT: The applicable price is the one displayed at the time of the order. Prices in the web shop are stated in SEK, EUR, or GBP, and include VAT. Any shipping and payment fees are shown separately prior to the purchase as well as in the order confirmation.
3.2. Special offers: We may from time to time offer a limited number of products, time-limited discount codes, or other promotional campaigns. Such offers apply in accordance with the terms and the time period stated at the time of purchase.
3.3. Discount codes and conditions of use: Any discount codes must be entered at the time of the order, are valid only once per order, and may not be combined with other discounts unless otherwise stated. They do not apply retroactively.
3.4. Specific Terms for Deliveries to the United Kingdom
3.4.1. For orders delivered to the United Kingdom (“UK”), the prices displayed in GBP in our web shop include 20% UK VAT. We are registered for VAT in the UK, and VAT is charged at the time of purchase.
- Hilleberg GB VAT number: GB503407628
- Hilleberg GB EORI number: GB503407628000
3.4.2. For shipments delivered to the UK, we cover all import duties and customs-related charges, meaning that no such fees are payable by the customer or the recipient upon delivery. Your parcel will remain at the collection point for 7-14 days after arrival, after which it will be returned to us. We charge a fee of 600-1200 SEK for unclaimed parcels to cover shipping and handling costs. The fee varies depending on country and if there is a cost of customs duties or similar.
4. TERMS OF PAYMENT
4.1. Available payment methods: Payment shall be made through the payment methods offered at the time of purchase. In our web shop, payment is made via integrated payment service providers.
4.2. Payment service provider: Our payments are processed by Nets Denmark A/S (“Nets”) or another designated payment service provider. Their terms apply to the payment, and they are responsible for the associated processing of personal data.
4.3. Card payment: When paying by card (e.g. Visa or Mastercard), the amount will be charged in connection with the order confirmation. We reserve the right to refuse a purchase in cases of suspected fraud or non-payment.
4.4. Payment link (if applicable): If you are unable to pay by card, payment may be offered via a payment link. The link is sent by e-mail and must be paid within the specified time.
4.5. Acceptance of terms: By making a payment, you accept both our Terms of Purchase and the terms of the payment service provider.
4.6. Retention of title: The goods remain our property until fully paid for, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
5. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
5.1. Shipping: Shipping charges are stated in connection with payment and in the order confirmation. For deliveries to the UK, import duties and customs-related charges are covered by us, as set out in the UK-specific terms under section 3.4 above.
5.2. Delivery time: Delivery time to our warehouse from the manufacturer is stated on the product page. The expected delivery time to the customer is stated in the order confirmation with year and week. Delivery normally takes place within 7 days from the date the goods leave our warehouse. Delivery times may be affected by public holidays, festive periods, vacation periods, and other special circumstances. Delivery to the United Kingdom (“UK”) normally takes place within 7 days.
5.3. Delays and rights: In the event of a delay not attributable to you, you are entitled to demand delivery, terminate the purchase, or claim damages. Termination may occur if the delivery is materially delayed, if we notify you that the goods will not be delivered, or if delivery does not occur within an additional period granted.
5.4. Delivery method: Deliveries within Sweden normally take place to a collection point, and to the specified address abroad. You may request another method of delivery by contacting our customer service at the time of the order, which we will decide on a case-by-case basis.
5.5. Uncollected packages: If a package is not collected, this will not automatically be regarded as an exercise of the right of withdrawal. We are entitled to charge you for the actual costs incurred for return shipping and handling. If you do not contact us within seven (7) days from the date the package was returned, we are entitled to terminate the purchase. In the event of a refund, deductions will be made for our costs associated with the return.
5.6. Receipt and inspection: You are responsible for receiving the shipment and should verify that it is intact and correct. Damages should be reported to us and the shipping company without undue delay.
5.7. Identification at collection point: Identification may be required when collecting the package. If another person collects the shipment on your behalf, you remain responsible for such collection.
6. WARRANTY, SERVICE AND REPAIRS
6.1. Lifetime warranty: Our tents and shelters may be covered by a lifetime warranty against original defects in material or workmanship. Information on whether the product is covered by a lifetime warranty is stated on the product page, as well as in the order confirmation and receipt. If such a defect should appear, we will remedy it at no additional cost to you, either through repair or replacement. The warranty is valid only upon presentation of proof of warranty. The order confirmation or receipt of purchase serves as proof of warranty. We therefore recommend that you retain such documentation after completing the purchase. In the event of an approved warranty claim, we will cover the return shipping and remedy.
6.2. What the warranty does not cover: The warranty does not cover damage arising from incorrect use, accidents, normal wear and tear, or external factors such as UV radiation or sand. The warranty may be denied in cases of abnormal wear or violation of care instructions.
6.3. How to invoke the warranty: For a warranty claim, you must contact our customer service with a description, images, and the order number. More information on how to proceed with a warranty claim is available on our website via the following link: https://hilleberg.com/eng/support/warranty-repairs
6.4. Statutory claims: The warranty does not affect your statutory rights to make a claim due to defects or delays.
6.5. Service and spare parts: We offer maintenance, repairs, and spare parts outside the warranty, subject to payment.
6.6. Authorized partners: We cooperate with authorized service partners in selected countries. The contact details of these service partners are available on our website via the following link: https://hilleberg.com/eng/support/warranty-repairs
7. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
7.1. Your right to withdraw from the purchase: As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days in accordance with the Distance Contracts Act (2005:59). The right of withdrawal applies only to consumers.
7.2. Commencement of the withdrawal period: For the purchase of goods, the withdrawal period begins the day after you have received the goods (or the final part in the case of partial delivery). For the purchase of services, the withdrawal period begins the day after the agreement was entered into.
7.3. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal: The right of withdrawal does not apply to services that have been fully performed during the withdrawal period, provided that you have expressly consented to the service commencing immediately and have been informed that the right of withdrawal ceases once the service has been completed.
7.4. How to exercise the right of withdrawal: To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify us clearly before the withdrawal period expires. This may be done by e-mail, telephone, letter, or via our contact form. You may also use our withdrawal form, available on our website: https://hilleberg.com/eng/support/terms-of-service#withdrawal-form
7.5. Return of goods: The goods must be returned no later than 14 days after you have notified us that you wish to withdraw from the purchase. You bear the cost of return shipping and are responsible for ensuring that the goods are returned in good condition. Please use the original packaging if possible. Retain the shipping receipt as proof.
7.6. Deduction for depreciation: If the goods have been handled more than necessary to determine their characteristics or functionality, we are entitled to make a reasonable deduction for depreciation. The same applies if the goods are returned damaged or incomplete.
7.7. Return address: Return the goods to the return address stated at the following link: https://hilleberg.com/eng/support/contact-us
7.8. Refund: We will refund the full purchase price, including the original shipping cost for standard delivery, no later than 14 days after you have notified us of your withdrawal. However, we may withhold the refund until we have received the goods or you have provided proof that the goods have been returned. Refunds will be made using the same method of payment that was used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.
8. COMPLAINTS AND RETURNS
8.1. Right to complain: As a consumer, you are entitled to complain about a product due to delay or defect within three (3) years from the date you received the product. You must make the complaint within a reasonable time after the defect has been discovered. A complaint made within two months shall always be deemed to have been made within a reasonable time.
8.2. How to make a complaint: A complaint may be made in writing or verbally. We recommend that you e-mail us with a description of the defect, when it was discovered, and preferably attach photographs. You are encouraged to use our return form: https://docs.hilleberg.net/HillebergReturnForm.pdf
8.3. Contact details for complaints: Contact details for complaints are provided at the following link: https://hilleberg.com/eng/support/contact-us
8.4. Transport damage: In the event of visible damage to the package upon delivery, you should report this immediately to the carrier and to us. We disclaim liability for damages occurring during transport to you.
8.5. Return handling in the event of a complaint: Please contact us before returning a product for complaint. We will then provide instructions for handling and return.
8.6. Hygiene and safety requirements: For hygiene and safety reasons, products returned must be clean and dry. We will not handle returns that are dirty, damp, or mouldy. Such products will be returned without action. This does not affect your statutory right to complain, but the product must be resent in acceptable condition in order for us to assess the complaint.
8.7. Return shipping and refund: In the event of an approved complaint, we will cover the return shipping and the remedy (e.g. repair, replacement, or refund). In the event of a non-approved complaint, you are responsible for the return shipping. Any refund will be made within 30 days using the same method of payment as was used for the purchase, unless otherwise specifically agreed.
8.8. Remedies for defects: If the product is defective, you are entitled to free repair, replacement, price reduction, or termination of the purchase in accordance with applicable law. You may also withhold payment or claim compensation. However, we are entitled in the first instance to offer repair or replacement, provided that this can be carried out without unreasonable inconvenience to you. The statutory right to complain applies regardless of whether you have a warranty or not.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
9.1. Force majeure: We disclaim liability for damage or loss caused by delay or defect in the product, if the cause is due to a circumstance beyond our control which we could not reasonably have foreseen at the time of entering into the agreement, and the consequences of which we could not reasonably have avoided or overcome. Such circumstances may include, for example, natural disasters, epidemics, pandemics, fire, war, governmental decisions, changes in legislation, or other similar events beyond our control.
9.2. Limitation of liability: We are liable for direct damages caused by our negligence, but not for indirect damages such as loss of profit or consequential damages, unless otherwise required by mandatory law. Our liability is not limited in cases of personal injury, intent, or gross negligence, to the extent such limitation is not permitted under mandatory law.
9.3. External links: Our website may contain links to external websites. We disclaim liability for the content or functionality of websites provided by third parties.

KonformitÀtsstatus
Unternehmen: Hilleberg The Tentmaker AB
Ausstellungsdatum: 2026-06-17
